Pilgrim is the digital home for the wanderlust arm of Sentinel Advocacy, a nonprofit dedicated to the environment and its people. Pilgrim recognizes that travel provides life-changing opportunities. It also recognizes that not all travel is created equal, and that the traveler has a unique moral opportunity each time they visit a new place, or retreat to a favorite destination.

Brook Meakins is the founder of Drowning Islands - a nonprofit project focused on low-lying islands and populations severely impacted by climate change, and a true wonderlust. She roams the globe with her husband and two small children, asking questions and always wanting more. She believes in the powerful force of travel and built this digital space to share, inspire, investigate, and to assist fellow pilgrims in their quest to discover new and unfamiliar places around the globe.
